Mac made his debut as Ms. Garland in 2002 in his autobiographical play, "Judy and Me," which ran for nearly two years at Rose's Turn in New York. It made its Off-Broadway debut in 2008 at St. Luke's Theater, also in New York, where it enjoyed a successful limited run. It toured throughout the East Coast and spawned his cabaret show, "Judy Garland: Live in Concert which has been playing for 19 years coast-to-coast.
Here is what one legend said: "I was here tonight to see Peter Mac as Judy. It's the most wonderful show, and I had the most wonderful time. It's like being back with Judy. He is absolutely fantastic!" -- Margaret O'Brien, Judy's little sister in "Meet Me in St. Louis"
Another Legend upon seeing Mac's performance as Miss Garland the late great Mickey Rooney responded in kind: "This is beyond an imitation. Peter Mac is Phenomenal!"
